Palli Sanchay Bank has deposited Tk 600 million in dividends declared in favour of the government into the government treasury. The cheque, representing dividends declared up to the fiscal year 2023-24, was formally handed over to Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury at the Bangladesh Secretariat on Sunday.
In the presence of Nazma Mobarek, Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division, Dr A K M Jahangir, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Palli Sanchay Bank, and Salma Banu, Managing Director of the bank, handed over the cheque to the Finance Minister, according to an official press release.
Among those present at the handover event were Nure Alam Talukdar, Director, Md. Golam Mortuza, Deputy Managing Director, A B M Zahid Hossain and Md Ala Uddin, General Managers, Muhammad Ali, Board Secretary and Senior Principal Officer, Sukanta Kumar Ghosh, Senior Principal Officer, and S M Shaiful Islam, Public Relations Officer and Senior Officer of Palli Sanchay Bank.
