Pakistan High Commissioner Imran Haider held discussions with Finance and Planning Adviser Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir on Sunday regarding bilateral economic relations. The talks covered trade, investment, and revenue cooperation between the two sides.

The High Commissioner briefed the adviser on the steady growth in bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh, and apprised him of decisions taken during the 9th Session of the Joint Economic Commission (JEC) alongside the progress made so far.

The two sides discussed the scope and potential for expanding bilateral trade and investment, as well as creating linkages between the respective Boards of Revenue.

Titumir encouraged continued dialogue through bilateral and multilateral forums, greater connectivity between businesses and people, stronger supply chain linkages, and increased cultural activities.
