Prime Minister Tarique Rahman reached Dubai yesterday, on his way back home after wrapping up a five-day visit to New York to attend the 81st session of the UNGA, where he highlighted Bangladesh's positions on global peace, climate change, the Rohingya crisis, and other issues of international concern.
"An Emirates flight carrying the prime minister, his wife Zubaida Rahman and members of his entourage arrived at Dubai International Airport at 8:23pm (Dubai time)," PM's Deputy Press Secretary Hasan Shiplu told BSS.
He is scheduled to leave Dubai for Dhaka by Emirates flight EK582 at 2:00am on September 27 and is expected to land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 8:40am the same day.
The prime minister left New York on September 25 after delivering his maiden address to the General Debate of the 81st UNGA and completing a packed programme of bilateral and high-level engagements with world leaders, UN officials, development partners and representatives of international organisations.

The prime minister's return concludes a significant diplomatic mission to the United Nations General Assembly focused on international cooperation and national priorities.
