The Indian High Commission in Dhaka has simplified the Visa Undertaking Form to make it easier for applicants to complete the documentation required for visa applications.

The revised form was uploaded to the Indian Visa Application Centre website around three weeks ago, according to a media release issued by the High Commission on Thursday.

The mission stated that the initiative reflects its ongoing efforts to simplify visa-related procedures and better facilitate applicants seeking travel authorization.

According to the release, the simplified format enables applicants to understand and complete the form more easily, thereby reducing their reliance on third-party agents for assistance.

The standardised format also ensures greater uniformity in submissions across all visa categories handled by the application center.

Authorities emphasized that the initiative is exclusively aimed at making the visa application process more convenient and applicant-friendly.

Officials confirmed that no new visa eligibility criteria have been introduced as part of this administrative exercise.
